Providing technical and financial support to the Korean Veterans Association through our existing edition relationship with the city of Chuncheon. Our strategic partnership with Chuncheon has enabled the city of Addis Ababa to secure higher education scholarship opportunities for civil servants and leaders of the city administration.
Similarly, concrete work to strengthen people-to-people relations between the two cities through cultural exchange and children's drawing competitions
Due to our strong sister city relationship with the German city of Leipzig, the two cities routinely exchange technical issues and arrange capacity building training to the leaders and experts of the Fire and Disaster Management Commission.
The City of Leipzig has formulated the Nakopa project to implement the Inclusion Program in Addis Ababa. Our strong bond with city of Leipzig created the opportunity for Addis' residents, particularly the youths, students to participate in cultural exchange programs and language training facilitated by German Cultural Institute (Goethe). These have strengthened people-to-people ties and communication between the two historic cities.
